help with phones with sim cards?
im thinking about buying this phone :

it takes a sim card.
i have verizon, which doesn’t have sim cards except for international phones. from what i understand.
if i were to buy that phone, is there any way they can use the serial number to use it with the CDMA network?
all the phones from verizon i have used have really had many problems, and are ugly at that. hahaha
but i’m on a family plan and can’t really cancel my phone, and i have a 2 year plan that i’ve had to replace my current phone 3 times.

No, Verizon uses CDMA in the US so that phone would not work. Even though Verizon makes some phones with SIM card slots, those are hybrids (CDMA and GSM). The GSM side is intended for use outside of the US and the CDMA is used on Verizon.
