One Month
Laid off one month and just start unemployment benefits, company called back wants me to work 6 days next week?
I work at a seasonal job that laid me off a month ago and I just got a call today from my manager asking me if I could work six, 8 hour shifts next week and then be laid off again until the summer.
I very recently claimed unemployment. If I decide to work those 6 days how will this affect my unemployment benefits? Will I lose my benefits?
You won;t, lose any benefits.
At worst,, You would earn more than week than you would receive in benefits.
Therefore, no benefits for that week.
once the week is over, you would re open that claim with no penalty or additional waiting week.
Take the work. It wilt not harm your claim.,
